Architects from TYYNI Studio created the Black House, which is a kind of refuge for its residents, where they can calm down from the hustle and bustle of the city and open up to nature.
The house is ecological not only thanks to the use of natural materials, but also energy from the solar roof. The minimalist and timeless black façade made of fired wood (SILESIA-2 boards) attracts attention. According to the investor’s guidelines, the house is visually closed from the street side. The uniform façade extends along the entire length of this side of the building and prevents unauthorized persons from seeing into the private space. From the inner side of the plot, the house opens onto a tree-lined garden. Czarny Dom forms a closed system with the investor’s neighbouring family house.
